Auditors claim GM's future in doubt without more federal aid. In 2008, the company suffered a loss of 30.9 billion US dollars. It has asked the US government for an additional 16.6 billion US dollars on top of the 13.4 billion it has gotten so far.






Porsche Sends its 250,000th Cayenne down the line


250,000th Cayenne is a 3.0 liter, 6-cylinder diesel version with 240 hp just introduced into the Porsche range. Porsche has sold 250,000 Cayennes in the 6 years since the model was launched in December of 2002.






BMW X5 M and X6 M Confirmed with 550hp via Microsite Oops


Source code for micro-site includes tag phrases 550 hp, twin-scroll turbo, V8 and all-wheel drive. Leading to the obvious: the X5 and X6 M versions will come with a V8 with twin-scroll turbochargers and 550 hp.






Honda Announces Sale of the Honda Racing F1 Team

Sportec RS700 based on Audi RS6 Debuted in Geneva


An Audi RS6-based Sportec RS700 has appeared at the Geneva Motor Show. It keeps the car's stock 5.0-litre V10 but brings out an extra 120 ponies out of it.






Fry hints team survival announcement imminent
